For over 50 years Coolpack has been the go-to specialist for packaging solutions for chilled and conditioned transport. Coolpack became a subdivision of De Ridder BV, and as such of the international listed Bunzl Group too. In 2021 the British cold chain specialist Hydropac zich bij De Ridder. also joined De Ridder. Considerable know-how and expertise thus came together, and to this day we still learn from each other’s experiences.
Coolpack is based in Assendelft, along with a production site and logistics centre. Here machines operate night & day and our team work diligently to produce gel packs and cooling elements. That’s no mean feat! Together with our dedicated team we ensure time and again that our client base can maintain quality levels and comply with applicable legislation by implementing a fail-safe cold chain together. In our producer/supplier role we are fully conscious of our responsibility to contribute to society and to limit our carbon footprint where possible. Accordingly, we have a fantastic team working at our production facility made up of people with a labour disability, we ensure proper working conditions throughout the chain and we support both local and global worthy causes.
